Doggymix
Is an organization founded by the enthusiastic and inspired Joyce den Otter. After working with other foundations, Joyce found the courage to establish her own organization. Doggymix and the people that work for the foundation focus on disadvantaged and severely abused Spanish dogs. The focus on Spain is mostly because the animals there are inadequately if not at all protected by law! Unfortunately many dogs in Spain can be found in the so called killing stations.

Vagabond Pets
Again through contact with Joyce I came in contact with the Foundation Vagabond-Pets. Soon the first dog of Vagabond Pets came to live with us. It turned out to be the infamous Kleo. She can also be found on our website for she became part of my own pack. Once, towards the end of November, Kleo decided to take a stroll only to be found on a farm 6 km away two weeks later!
With a lot of help from the foundation and Conwenna Kleo is now a very happy dog as she has been adopted by us and has become Noa's dog.
The organization concentrates on severely abused and neglected dogs, mostly from Poland. The foundation is run by two very enthusiastic ladies: Jeannette and Ellen who in turn are assisted by many dedicated volunteers.

Worldpaws
Buying a trendy article and supporting a good cause at the same time? Who can resist that? We sell animal paws made of adhesive plastic in all colours of the rainbow.
Our stock consists of dog paws, cat paws, rabbit feet, rat's feet and horseshoes. The stickers are suitable for all smooth surfaces like cars, bicycles, bins, doors, windows, trunks, etc. The profits go to Turkish animal shelters Göcek (near Dalaman) and SHKD in Istanbul. Occasionally, we also support other animal causes such as providing shelter, food, vaccinations, neutering and relocating. All this is very expensive.

This is a site where not only needy Collies and Shelties can be found but also other breeds and and crossbreeds. They all search for a new home. This foundation was founded up by Frans and Teya Radix.

HUVOR
Huvor, Foundation of Pets for the Elderly in the municipal of Renkum
A pet means more than just fun. Global surveys show that having a pet improves the physical, mental and social health of the elderly enormously. It also gives a pet a special purpose to life.
HuvoR has a walking service for older people who are not able to walk their dogs but only on a TEMPORARY basis. The HuvoR foundation has volunteers who for a short period take care of a pet, either at their owner’s home or at their own home if the owner is temporarily incapacitated.
HuvoR also mediates in adoption or relocating pets. HuvoR provides the elderly with the opportunity to prepare a codicil in their will for making provisions for their beloved pet after the death of the owner.
In case of emergencies HuvoR can also provide financial support for necessary veterinary treatment if the cost of the capacity of the owner goes beyond their means.
HuvoR runs a petproject at various nursinghomes within the municipality of Renkum.
If asked, HuvoR also mediates between residents and management of nursinghomes on their policy concerning pets.
